What insurance do you accept?
- We accept numerous insurance plans including certain types of Medicaid plans, medicare, Anthem BCBS, Humana, Aetna, United Health Care, ProHealth, Tricare, VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, and many others.
Will my eyes be dilated at my appointment?
- Patients scheduled for a diabetic eye exam will typically be dilated while patients scheduled for an annual vision exam will usually not be dilated since we obtain routine retinal screening photos and scans during these types of visits. However, the decision to dilate will also be dictated by the medical necessity which varies from patient to patient depending on the problem that our doctors are trying to evaluate.

- Yes, we’re currently accepting new patients.
Do you have an ophthalmologist on staff?
- Our doctors are Doctors of Optometry with extensive medical training and experience managing diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye disease and many other chronic and acute ocular conditions.
Do you offer eye exams to children?
- Yes, we offer eye care to the whole family.
How long will my visit last?
- An average visit will last about one hour.
What brand of frames do you have?

How much does an eye exam cost?
- If you have insurance, our office will submit a claim and you’ll be responsible for any copay, deductible amount or any non-covered services as dictated by your plan. If you do not have any medical insurance, please call our office for an estimate. A comprehensive routine vision exam with one of our very experienced doctors for a new patient (no contact lenses) is $204 and it includes retinal photos and retinal scans using Optical Coherence Tomography to screen for the most common systemic and ocular disease.
How much will it cost to purchase eyewear at your office?
- If you have a vision discount plan like VSP or EyeMed, your benefits and discounts will be reviewed with you by our staff the day of your appointment. If you do not have a vision savings plan, we offer frame and lens packages that range between $149-$249 depending on the lens design.
Do you offer emergency appointments?
- Yes, please call our office and we’ll do our best to get you worked into our schedule.
I received a text that my glasses are ready. Do I need an appointment to pick them up?
- No, you don’t need an appointment, but we kindly ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes before closing.
How long does it take to get glasses?
- It typically takes about 7-14 business days.
Is your office an optometry or ophthalmology office?
- Dr Mark Snyder and Dr Karina Snyder are Doctors of Optometry with extensive medical training and experience. Their typical day in the clinic consists of diagnosing and managing various ocular diseases including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye disease, trauma and many other conditions.
I broke my glasses that I purchased at your office. How do I get them replaced?
- We gladly unconditionally guarantee our frames and lenses against breakage of any kind for any reason for 12 months. We will repair or replace the frames and /or lenses as often as needed, with a co-payment of $25.00. Please call our office and request to speak with one of our optical experts.
